We are Bloc, a collective of like-minded, forward-thinking civil & structural engineers. We share a belief that engineering is not just a technical necessity, but part of the creative process which makes the Built Environment.

We like to be involved at the start of our client’s project as this allows us to reveal opportunities at the formative stages, allowing their full benefit to be utilised.
This said, we can always bring benefit to a project at whatever stage we are involved and bring with us extensive and diverse experience, allowing us to achieve results beyond the aspirations of the brief.
Our process will challenge usual perceptions of the civil and structural engineer’s role, unlocking unseen opportunities and advocating for a new kind of engineering profession.
We strive for quality design which is not only respectful to the vision & objectives, but looks to enhance it where possible. We take pride in the quality of our output and deliverables and place this at the forefront of our projects.

As engineers, we acknowledge that our involvement is key in tackling the environmental challenges which we all currently face and take this responsibility seriously in our designs & practice.
Structural Engineering
Our expertise ranges from large scale multi-storey mixed used developments, education buildings, heavy industrial and public realm through to bespoke residential adaptations.
Civil Engineering
Our expertise ranges from below ground drainage design and flood risk management for multi-phase developments through to isolated drainage alterations, diversions, build-over agreements etc.
Construction Consultancy
We have extensive expertise in undertaking forensic analysis and assessment of failed structures, working with insurers or private clients to investigate causation, re-build or strengthening options.
